Dr. Sergey M. Motov is an internationally known teacher and researcher on the subject of pain management and a renowned authority on the subject. An academic Emergency Physician, Dr. Motov has lectured and published extensively on the appropriate use of pain medications, especially opioids. Dr. Sergey Motov is an assistant professor of clinical Emergency Medicine at SUNY Downstate Medical Center and the assistant EM residency director at Maimonides Medical Center in New York.
